The Weight Of A Soul/Elizabeth Tammi/New Adult

4/5 Stars

When I first started this book, I was skeptical, but it quickly captured my attention and sucked me into this wild ride of a story.

It’s not every day that you see a book based around Norse gods and the religion behind them, unless of course, you’re bingeing the Avengers and Thor movies. But it was quite refreshing.

This book is about a sisterly bond that goes beyond the grave and what lengths one sister would go to for another. The main character has such a fierce love for her sister, that her morals are at risk of turning sour, no matter how good her intentions are.

This story is unpredictable in a predictable way; many people will figure out the ending, while most won’t. For me, parts of the story were very predictable, while others were curveballs I couldn’t catch.

I enjoyed this story and would like to see more from Tammi in the near future.
